Bob Dalrymple’s Railroad

Bob’s railroad is a freelanced layout which highlights his enjoyment of building structures and creating scenes of human activity. Started just four years ago, the layout is fully landscaped, ranging from dense urban scenes to farmland to towering mountains. It contains dozens of kit-built structures, 300 human figures, and 100 scale vehicles. Many of the structures have detailed interiors and lighting, and several are named for family members. Bob has had a long career as a band director, and there is a scene of the band performing a concert in the town’s gazebo. Other scenes include a fish pond, a street musician, indoor and outdoor dining, and a church with both a wedding and a funeral in progress. Handicapped accessible
